Reid Weppler

SVP, Development Asset Management

Reid Weppler, SVP, oversees the Development Asset Management platform, which is responsible for all day-to-day asset management activities related to RXR’s development projects. Reid brings 25+ years of experience and a diverse background working across a variety of different asset classes.

Prior to joining RXR, Reid was the Head of Real Estate at Convene, a high growth hospitality company focused on premium corporate meetings and event spaces. There he oversaw the group responsible for the acquisition, design, and construction of Convene’s industry-defining flagship hospitality properties.

Reid spent 10 years at Vornado Realty Trust in Washington, D.C. where he oversaw strategic asset and portfolio repositioning initiatives and led the development of 800 17th Street/PNC Place, PNC Bank’s LEED Platinum headquarters. Mr. Weppler was recognized in 2011 as one of Bisnow’s “35 Under 35”, honoring Washington, D.C.’s rising stars of commercial real estate.

Reid received a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in finance from American University and a masters in real estate from Johns Hopkins University.
