Eric Schlameuss, LEED AP

SVP, Design & Construction

With over 25 years of experience with RXR, Eric is responsible for architecture, design, and operations for pre-construction activities and project initiation.  This includes guiding a team of internal design professionals who oversee tenant Improvement projects, capital Improvement projects, and large scale repositioning projects.  Key to his role is coordination of stakeholders across disciplines surrounding the successful execution of projects at all scales.  He also manages external relationships with a variety of consultant partners and municipal entities.

Eric has managed the work of the preconstruction team for a vast array of projects, from corporate office interior renovations and pre-built units, to amenity spaces and common areas, to exterior interventions.  He has guided several major repositioning projects such as The Starrett-Lehigh Building, , 5 Times Square, 237 Park Avenue, RXR Plaza, and 450 Lexington Avenue.  Eric also notably spearheaded the development of RXR’s innovative Pre-builts Powered by WorxWell product, launched in 2020.  His efforts on these projects serve to align feasibility, program, strategy, innovation, aesthetic design, and construction budgets and schedules.  He as well oversees yearly capital projects planning and maintenance of multi-year capital plans for the RXR portfolio.

Eric has particular expertise in Green Building, leading the LEED certification of multiple projects.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree, from Syracuse University School of Architecture with a Minor in Construction Management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.  He is also the Executive Director of CANstruction Long Island.
