Jason Roberts

SVP, Construction

Jason Roberts is the Senior Vice President of RXR Construction Services, bringing over 25 years of experience in New York’s construction and real estate industries. Since taking on this role in 2021, Jason has strengthened RXR’s in-house construction division through strategic process improvements, refined organizational structure, and enhanced project management practices. Under his leadership, the team is operating as efficiently as it ever has—evidenced by an all-time high level of work in place per employee and continued growth in overall profitability. Jason oversees all aspects of the division’s daily operations, including construction management, legal oversight, staffing, and business planning, while managing an average of $200 million in annual construction volume.

Jason joined RXR in 2020 as a Vice President and Project Executive within the Development group, contributing to major projects such as The Willoughby, a 34-story residential tower in Brooklyn, and the Red Hook Logistics Center. He continues to provide strategic planning and oversight for several of RXR’s development projects ensuring alignment and proper execution across the portfolio.

Prior to RXR, Jason served as a Project Executive at AECOM Tishman, where he managed logistics, coordination, and critical infrastructure and public space components for the $14 billion Hudson Yards development, as well as projects such as the 135 Emerson Place Dormitory at Pratt Institute and preconstruction for JFK Terminal One. Earlier in his career at Turner Construction, he led projects at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, the Museum Buildings at the South Street Seaport, the Hunts Point Food Distribution Center, the Brooklyn Army Terminal, the demolition of Yankee Stadium, and construction of Macombs Dam Park and Heritage Field.

In addition to his construction management experience, Jason started his career in design and then real estate for Tishman Speyer and Rose Associates, giving him a well-rounded perspective on development, operations, and the built environment. His strategic leadership, collaborative approach, and deep technical knowledge continue to drive RXR Construction Services toward sustained growth and excellence.

Jason resides in New York City with his wife and two daughters.
